Teaching reading is one of the most rewarding and challenging parts of being an English language arts teachers. Teaching reading (whether in elementary, middle, of high school) involves so many skills, including close reading, context clues, word work, text structure, inference, theme, plot, story elements, figurative language, point of view, and synthesis.
